B.E.A.R.S. Mission

Our mission is to provide an early childhood education and development to children between 2 1/2 and 5 years of age in a professional, loving, Christian setting.

B.E.A.R.S. Philosophy

B.E.A.R.S. is a preschool that believes in developing a balanced foundation of spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional and physical aspects for each unique child to reach their greatest potential.

The Program Descriptions

Cubs - 2 1/2 Year Olds
Must be 2 by 3/31 preceding fall entry; limited to 8 children per teacher and one parent helper; will meet one morning per week (MWF); program for an older two or younger 3.

Pandas - 3 Year Olds
Must be 3 by 9/30 and completely potty trained; teacher/student ratio of 1:10; meets two mornings per week (MT); may be child’s first experience with formal preschool education.

Koalas - 3 Year Olds
(am/pm) Must be 3 by 9/30 and completely potty trained; teacher/student ratio of 1:10; meets three days per week (WThF); may be child’s first experience with formal preschool education.

Teddy Bears - 4 Year Olds
(am/pm) Must be 4 by 9/30; teacher/student ratio of 1:12; meets 4 days per week (M-Th); designed to be second year of preschool experience that includes classroom routines and themes encouraging exploration and reinforcing literacy readiness.

Polar Bears - 5 Year Olds
(am/pm) Must be 5 by 12/31; teacher/student ratio of 1:14; meets 5 days a week; developed as a Pre-K program for children old enough to enter Kindergarten, but being given the gift of time; curriculum is workshop based and also includes small and large group instruction and interaction.
