Special Events

In the morning we give children an opportunity, with their parents, to see their classrooms and meet their teachers as well as make some new friends!  This helps to ease anxiety for the first day of school.  In the evening, only the parents return for an information meeting to discuss the upcoming school year.

 

 

What a special evening it is when the children perform the Christmas music they've learned in the sanctuary!  The memories are priceless!

 

 

VIP night is an opportunity for our students to enjoy a very special evening at school with a Very Important Person in their life.  This could be a parent, grandparent, neighbor or friend.  Children show off their artwork, show the VIP the classroom, take pictures, make a craft, eat a snack, and have a fun evening playing games together in the large muscle room.  Each VIP night has a different theme - Sports, Circus, Movies, etc.  We've even had Brutus and the Buckeye Cheerleaders make an appearance at one VIP night!

 

Another special music performance for the whole family to enjoy!  Spring artwork is displayed in the large muscle room for all to see.  There also is an optional, small silent auction in large muscle room as well as a final opportunity to buy tickets for our class basket raffle.  The raffle drawing takes place the following day in the classrooms.

 

 

This event is a great time to play at a local park with friends, have lunch, take pictures, and make plans to play together over the summer!
